Today ASRock Rack launched three workstation motherboards based on the new released Intel Greenlow platform features Skylake processors in miniITX, microATX and ATX. ASRock Rack announced today the new series of workstation motherboards feature with the latest Intel Greenlow platform features Skylake processor, which enhances the cloud graphics, video delivery and analytics. ASRock Rack makes use of the features to launch three models in miniITX, uATX and ATX to develop deeper in the workstation market. Greenlow platform offers significant improvements on memory speed, outstanding graphic and richer I/O performance. It supports maximized 8 SATA3 ports, DDR4 memory, and sufficient PCIe 3.0 and USB3.0 connections. The new generation of CPU graphic core has an enhanced 3D performance, absolutely meeting the demands of workstation users. ASRock Rack has introduced three models of workstation motherboards: C236M WS, C236WS and C236WSI, the various form factors can be fitted in either towers or short-depth chassis, and mini servers. These models are ideal for graphic workstations, NVR, rendering machine, professional NAS and multi-display application. C236MWS is a uATX workstation motherboard with up to 8 SATA3 ports and 4 PCIe3.0 slots. It is the perfect fit for the short-depth chassis, broadly applied in NVR market. It includes one SATA DOM, which is optional for M.2 to deploy the NVR system. Meanwhile, the rest of SATA ports boost the storage capacity. C236 WS is in ATX with 8 SATA3.0 ports and multiple PCIe slots. Through the upgrade to Greenlow platform, the storage capacity and memory speed are enhanced. It is ideal for high performance workstations, NVR and multi-display applications. C236 WSI is the first workstation board made by ASRock Rack in miniITX, which brings the benefits of various applications. Featuring Greenlow platform, it achieves better performance and storage capacity. It is ideal for mini workstations, modular rendering machines and professional NAS.
