ASRock Rack at CeBIT 2015
|
The innovative server vendor ASRock Rack, specializing in high performance and high-efficiency server technology is showcasing its latest innovation at CeBIT 2015 in Hannover, Germany. As the demand for content, data, instant knowledge and open source continuously grows, the traditional datacenter faces increased requirements for computing performance, memory and storage capacity. Meanwhile, it brings up issues such as electrical power, cooling and cost. To meet all aspects, ASRock Rack is presenting diversified product lines with high-density, flexibility and scalability. The virtual booth will display various products with Intel processors from the low-power Atom to the high performance Xeon to support HPCs, datacenters storage servers and GPU technology. 1U12LX-14S is perfect as a web 2.0 storage server, 2U4N is ideal for a high performance computing node, and 3U8G is ideal for a high-density GPU server. ASRock Rack will also introduce the newest 1U4 & 2U8 series as a comprehensive platform for DCIM, targeting the market for Hadoop, Big Data and Cloud Computing. The 1U4 & 2U8 series have parallel designs of dual CPU sockets which are capable of coping with overheating issues, and saves the cost for both thermal solution and rack space. The CPU's performance is perfect for handling massive transformations in Hadoop and database servers, while the full-height add-on card design offers the most expandability for I/O expansion as well. The 2U8 model provides multiple options via either PCIe SSDs or I/O expansion to meet the high demand of SSD buffers. It supports eight 3.5” HDDs and four PCIe SSDs, which is why it is fantastic for a high-end storage server. The sufficient memory capacity, PCIe slots and the strong CPU performance makes it perfect for virtualization. Users can easily build up a VM or VCA server Riser with NVIDIA GRID to maximize the computing resource. Additionally, the 1U4 model is ideal for internet security by its I/O design, users can take advantage of the network capacity to achieve a strict security firewall. Furthermore, global leading motherboard brand ASRock will be debuting the latest SuperSpeed+ USB 3.1 motherboards at CeBIT 2015 Hall 15/D21. ASRock motherboards are going to be the first in the world to carry the Type-C 10 Gb/s SuperSpeed+ USB 3.1, which supports next generation mobile devices. Selected ASRock 9-series motherboards will be supporting both Type-A and Type-C USB 3.1. ASRock will be displaying models such as the X99 OC Formula/3.1, X99 Extreme6/3.1 and X99X Killer/3.1. The X99 OC Formula/3.1, X99 Extreme6/3.1 and X99X Killer/3.1 will be supporting onboard Type-C SuperSpeed+ USB 3.1 and bundling a USB 3.1 Card/A+A.
