As a 890GX motherboard, the MSI 890GXM-G65 does have a lot in common with the other boards we reviewed, such as native SATA 3.0 and USB 3.0 support, but it does come with one major difference - it uses the mATX form factor. This smaller size could actually be quite the silver lining for this boardm as the 890GX chipset is geared toward and offers a wide array of features for the home theater crowd. This will make it easily fit in most HTPC cases, which tend to be smaller in order to fit more discreetly in entertainment centers without taking up all the room of a conventional style PC.
