This little TEW-649UB Mini Wireless N USB adapter device from Trendnet boasts 300Mbps receive and 150Mbps transmit speeds. It doesn't have as good of range as other 802.11n products we've looked at in the past, but at short range it is super fast and it certainly is small. If you need a little USB adapter this should be considered. Trendnet has come a long way since the early days of super budget hardware. In fact, they have innovated a couple of the smallest 802.11n consumer products that we've seen - this adapter and the TEW-654TR Travel Router. Both of these products perform respectably and are priced very aggressively. I found the TEW-649UB online for as little as 20 USD - making it one of the cheapest and definitely the smallest 802.11n adapters on the market.
