USB Sticks have replaced the floppy disks of yesteryears as the medium for file transfers. As file size gets bigger, USB interface seems to be the bottleneck for such transfers. Manufacturers knew that it and introduced eSATA ports. eSATA ports if you remember first appeared on ASRock mainboards a few years ago. It has garner more support these years. We see eSATA ports on mainboards and even notebooks. eSATA ports comes in two flavours, one is the traditional eSATA port while the one found on the ASRock X58SuperComputer is a powered one. Powered eSATA ports means that the esata device do not require external power connector to power it up. This mimics the traditional USB ports, where you just plug the USB sticks and it works. So how does the OCZ Throttle perform using eSATA interface ?
