We have just taken a look at the NZXT Cryo LX notebook cooler. NZXT has taken a standard notebook cooler, given it a larger format with much better cooling prowess. The Cryo LX supports up to 19" laptops and keeps things chilly with three 120mm fans! They are adjustable for a better ratio of performance vs. noise and it works quite well, and thanks to the 4-port USB2.0 hub you should always stay connected. If you've got a toasty hot laptop, this cooler will probably perform better than many other coolers on the market, but you have to give up some silence in exchange. It makes a bit of noise - not loud by all means but you can definitely hear it. The reality is that the NZXT Cryo LX is the Airflow King of laptop coolers - much like the NZXT Tempest is for PC cases. In both instances, these products generate noise, but provide excellent cooling.
