ASRock ConRoe1333-D667 is a slimed down version of the ConRoe1333-DVI/H we reviewed earlier. With a newer stepping of the 945GC chipset, it is able to scale up its performance with unofficial support of the 1333FSB CPUs to be released. Although 945GC A2 is a newer stepping of the 945G, it shares similar functionalities with the 945G. The ConRoe1333-D667 is somewhat scaled back as Rev 1 has Fast Ethernet while Rev 2.0 comes with GbE. It only has 2 DDRII dimm slots to support up to a max. of 4GB of RAM. Basic o/c features are also in with Boot failure guard and ASRock U-COP. The integrated graphics just like the 945G boards can have a max shared memory of 224M. It is also Vista Premium certified with 7.1 Ch Vista Premium level HD Audio (ALC888 Audio Codec). This board is VISTA PREMIUM Hardware Ready. Thus, you can get ready to take advantage of the Aeroglass and HD Audio features for VISTA.
